This page describes the copyright in the SGUsed platform and explains how to report content that infringes on your copyright.

1. Ownership of the Platform

The SGUsed mobile application, website, design, source code, logos, graphics, text, and any other materials made available by SGUsed (collectively, the "SGUsed Materials") are the property of SGUsed LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted in our Terms of Service, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, transmit, display, perform, or create derivative works from any SGUsed Materials without our prior written permission.

2. User Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you post to SGUsed, including listings, photos, descriptions, messages, ratings, and profile information ("User Content").

By posting User Content to SGUsed, you grant SGUsed LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the SGUsed platform. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where retention is required by law.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to any content you post. Do not upload images, text, or other materials that belong to someone else without permission.

3. Reporting Copyright Infringement

SGUsed respects the intellectual property rights of others and will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").

If you believe that material on SGUsed infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent (see Section 5) that includes the following:

Incomplete notices may delay our response. False or misleading notices may result in liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

4. Counter Notification

If you believe content you posted was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter notification that includes:

If we receive a valid counter notification, we may restore the removed content unless the original complainant files a court action against you within ten business days.

6. Repeat Infringers

SGUsed will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

7. Trademarks

"SGUsed" and the SGUsed logo are trademarks of SGUsed LLC. Other product, company, or service names mentioned on the platform may be the trademarks of their respective owners. Use of those marks does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by their owners.
